How fast can you replace a water heater?
Most standard gas or electric tank replacements are same-day — call in the morning and you usually have hot water back that afternoon. Tankless installs and conversions that need new gas lines or venting take longer, usually most of a day.
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
A tank heater lasts about 10–12 years. If yours is younger and it's a thermostat, element, or gas valve, a repair makes sense. If it's older, leaking from the tank itself, or giving rusty water, replacement is the smarter money — we'll tell you straight which one you're looking at.
Tank or tankless — which is right for me?
Tank units cost less up front and are a simple swap. Tankless units cost more to install but never run out of hot water, take up no floor space, and last longer. We size either one to your household and lay out the real numbers so you can choose.
How much does a new water heater cost?
It depends on tank vs. tankless, the size, gas vs. electric, and whether the gas line or venting needs work. We quote the full price up front — unit, install, code parts, and haul-away — before we start, so there are no surprises.
Do you haul away my old water heater?
Yes. Every replacement includes removing and disposing of the old unit — we don't leave it sitting in your garage.
Why is my water heater leaking, noisy, or giving rusty water?
Popping or rumbling is usually sediment on the bottom of the tank — a flush often fixes it. Rusty hot water or a leak from the tank body usually means the tank is corroding through, and that's a replacement, not a repair. We diagnose it before you spend anything.
